Balmer is rooted in the belief that creativity is found in the way we live.

For Alexa Stiegler, that idea has always been closely tied to home. Growing up with French heritage shaped the way she understood it, not simply as a place to decorate, but as a reflection of how we live, gather, and express ourselves.

Her years working as a model opened the door to another creative world. Through fashion, travel, and the people she met along the way, she was constantly exposed to new ideas and ways of seeing. It reinforced a belief that continues to shape Balmer today: creativity becomes far more interesting when we trust our own instincts.

Through interiors, stories, objects, and the people and places that inspire them, Balmer explores that idea. It is both Alexa’s creative practice and an evolving collection of what she finds interesting, beautiful, and worth sharing. At its core is a simple belief that the most interesting spaces, objects, and lives are shaped by a point of view that is entirely your own.
